Now Open Jewish Hospital Medical Center South Jewish Hospital Medical Center South Fact Sheet To meet the health care needs of Bullitt County and the surrounding communities, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare built a comprehensive outpatient health care facility in Hillview, Kentucky at the Brooks exit of Interstate 65. Jewish Hospital is excited to be able to bring much-needed medical care to an area that has been federally designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area.
The new facility expands on the services that Jewish Hospital has been providing in the community since the mid 1990’s through Frazier Rehab Institute’s outpatient rehab facility and physicians in the community. Jewish Hospital has been committed to providing quality health care to the area since the Bullitt County Medical Center in Tanyard Springs was established in 1998. The Medical Office Buidling at Jewish Hospital Medical Center South provides a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Ear Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Hand Surgery, Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Pulmonology and Urology. On May 22, 2006 Family Practice Associates opened a satellite office in Shepherdsville, Kentucky including Drs. Michael Needleman, John Sullivan, Robert Scharff, Christopher Smalley, Ling Qiu, and Megan Ward, ARNP to provide additional services to the community. Jewish Hospital Medical Center South includes all board certified/board eligible physicians from several different groups including: Anesthesiology Associates (Anesthesiology), Tyson, Schwab, Short & Weiss (Radiology), Louisville Pathology Associates (Pathology), and Physicians in Emergency Medicine (Emergency Medicine). Jewish Hospital Medical Center South
Jewish Hospital Medical Center South opened May 15, 2006. The campus
includes two buildings, the medical center and a medical office building.
As a comprehensive outpatient and primary care center, the complex provides
24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging including MRI scanning and
CT, outpatient surgical services, endoscopy, primary care services, mammography
and bone densitometry.
