Women's Center at SMEH

The Women’s Center at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital recognizes that women are the center of their families and their communities. This remarkable facility is completely dedicated to women’s breast and bone health, as well as their comfort and convenience.

The Center features:

• Soft-pad all digital mammography
• Breast ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Sterotactic breast biopsy
• Bone density scans
• State-of-the-art technology designed specifically for women
• A women only environment, with amenities like cozy robes and private dressing rooms
• Staffed children’s play area
• Same day test results, and extended hours

Should patient’s tests reveal anything suspicious, further tests will be performed that same day, reducing the anxiety of waiting. Patients can even treat themselves to a well-deserved massage while they’re here.

The center is staffed with certified mammographers and board certified radiologists all of whom have advanced training in mammography. All imaging is available on the hospitals PACS system allowing physicians instant access to patients’ online.
