In
today’s fast paced world, staying on track is crucial for success,
either in business or life’s daily moments. The same is true of
your health. For over 100 years, Jewish Hospital has provided excellence
in health care for the region we serve. Keeping you healthy is our primary
objective. That’s why Jewish Hospital introduced the Executive
Health program – a one-stop shop for busy people who want to take
charge of their health in a timely manner.
Rivaling other select programs across the country, Executive Health
provides you with first-class physical exams; testing and information
about maintaining a healthy lifestyle – close to home. Many of
the high-tech medical procedures included cannot be performed in a doctor’s
office. From the individualized series of tests, screenings, consultations,
to the one-on-one physical examination with a certified internal medicine
physician, you will experience personalized health care. You will leave
the opulent Trager Pavilion with tests results and an understanding of
your current health status. This process can save you time and expense – and
maybe your life!
First Steps:
of services that are personalized for your needs. Call the Executive
Health Program Coordinator to schedule your Executive Health examination
and to answer any questions that you have. It usually takes at least
one month to be scheduled for your executive examination. When an appointment
is scheduled, a registration form is completed along with a confidential
medical health history questionnaire. The responses to the health history
help identify key information about your medical condition, risk factors,
lifestyle issues and special concerns so that the physical will be personalized
to your particular needs. In addition to the basic examination, a series
of tests and screenings may be recommended.
One to Two Weeks Prior to Exam:
You will receive a packet of information detailing the events of your
Executive Health physical. It will include confirmation of the date and
time of the examination along with information of where to park and where
to report.
Day of Exam:
You should wear comfortable clothing and bring tennis shoes for the treadmill
stress test. Please do not eat or drink anything after midnight prior
to the day of your exam. You may elect to bring reading or work materials
with you, as there may be short periods of ‘downtime.’
